A shimmer of your face
Reflecting in the star's light,
A glimmer of your eyes
Sparkling in the eclipse of night.

Singing its mesmeric melody,
A whisper of the air
Entwining its notes soft and steady.

A ghost of your presence
Leaving its ephemeral trace,
An evanescence of your pull
Falling away through time and space.

A flicker of a moment
Escaping without thought,
Gazing into the amaranthine sky
You're a falling star already caught.

Just a Dream

darkness falls and i let my eyelids drop
diving into the depths of the imagination
i fall into a peaceful slumber without hesitation

i open my eyes to a sunlit shore
the colors of the sky blending into a mural of jewels
each reflecting off rainbows of crystalline lights
altogether painting a mezmerizing sight

as i walk along the sandy banks
the miniscule grains sink in my steps
the imprints stand unblemished and unmarred
just a pair of footprints, standing alone like my heart

then a warmth spreads from my fingertips to my toes
as you take my hand in yours a smile crosses my lips
and in unspoken harmony our hearts intertwine
into an intricate bond of delicate design

and in the silence so much can be heard
as our hearts beat in their harmonious rhythm
the song of the sea rises in all its glory
dancing with the whispers of trees to weave a story

and i open my eyes once again
just to remember it was a dream i wish i could ignore
for it was just a dream...and nothing more.

Window of the Soul

Those jet black eyes reflect back on mine
Piercing into my soul what's hidden inside
I don't understand, why is it this way
What words are silenced your eyes betray
